although I sometimes lose hope on what HRW group is doing when I read the reports on women's rights...but again, there must be a lot of limitations and obstacles on their way...

I made it to the screening of "The Sari Soldiers" at the PFA theater tonight, and it was just exceptional ...... a tremendously moving documentary.
The PFA theater also has a film series titled "Women's Cinema from Tangiers to Tehran" on its calender. Niki Karimi will be there on March 1 to present her films "One Night" and "A Few Days Later".
